I have a long history with G.E.T Parts. Following my enlistment in the U.S Navy in 1984, I started in the construction parts and service business at a heavy equipment repair facility in Statesville, NC: Road Machinery Services. I worked in the shop as track press assistant and quickly moved to parts department. This is where my education and passion for bucket teeth, undercarriages for crawlers and mechanical parts began. Setting my sights outside the shop, while working I earned a BA in Business Administration at UNC Charlotte and in 1989 became branch manager for Road Machinery’s Greensboro, NC store.
In 1994 opportunity knocked and I took a sales position with GETCO (Ground Engaging Tool Co.) Ltd. in Atlanta, GA and my family and I made the move. My positions over the next 23 years included; territory manager, sales manager, branch manager, Regional VP, and national accounts manager. Each step taught me new skills and appreciation for the people in this industry. I worked with amazing sales reps who understood what their customers needed in both service and parts, developed relationships with small town rental companies and large equipment manufacturers, and traveled all over the world to understand every inch of the production process from raw steel to the last day on a jobsite. I worked until I knew exactly what my customers wanted, and how to get there.
So, in 2017 I decided to retire from Getco / H-E Parts and founded AllTech Pro. Together with my former business partners Bill Miller and Rakesh Luthra, we’ve created a company that I am proud to be a part of. Give us a call, I’d love to see what we can help you with.
